Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on Hunt And Shoot. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. HNT Forum Rules

    1. General Forum Rules
      • Respect and Courtesy: Treat all members with respect. Personal attacks, harassment, or any discriminatory remarks will not be tolerated.
      • Content Guidelines: Post content that is relevant to the categories and respectful of others’ opinions. Inappropriate content, including but not limited to offensive language, is prohibited and will be removed.
      • Privacy and Security: Do not share personal information, including real names, contact details, or addresses. Use the randomized usernames provided by the forum for your safety and privacy.

    2. For Sale & Wanted Rules
      • Access Restrictions: The For Sale section is accessible only to subscribed users who have passed a firearm and license check.
      • Prohibited Transactions: Direct person-to-person sales are not allowed. All transactions involving firearms must be conducted through a registered and licensed Firearms Dealer (RFD).
      • Liability: All transactions are the sole responsibility of the buyer and seller. The forum is not responsible for the outcomes of any sales or trades.
      • Posting Rules: Clearly state the item details, including condition, price, and any necessary legal information. Misleading posts will be removed.

    3. Posting and Interaction
      • Username Policy: All users must use the randomized usernames assigned to them upon registration. These cannot be changed and are designed to protect user identity.
      • Reporting Mechanism: If you see something that violates our rules or seems suspicious, report it immediately to the moderation team.
      • Updates and Changes: Rules and policies may be updated periodically. It is the responsibility of all users to stay informed about these changes by checking the announcements section regularly.

      • Equipment Reviews: Be honest and fair in your reviews. Do not post false information or intentionally misleading reviews.
      • Events & Trips: When posting about events or organizing trips, ensure that all activities are legal and follow local regulations.
